Best Practices
The Siyo Standard: Uncompromising Quality From Mycelium to You
Our Operating Philosophy
At Siyo farm, "Best Practice" is not merely a label, it is our operational mandate. We view our process as an exercise of scientific rigor married with artisan care. True potency demands that we control every variable, from the initial substrate input to the moment the finished product arrives at your door.
Our commitment is simple:
- Unparalleled purity
- Maximum bioavailability
- Unwavering consistency
...in every single batch.
The Science of Potency: Optimization & Bioavailability
We don't simply cultivate Cordyceps; we conjure masterpieces through bio-hacking and an intimate understanding of the craft.
Extended Myco-Maturation Cycle: Sometimes doing things the right way means taking a little bit longer.
We deliberately move beyond standard industry timelines. Our Cordyceps mature for a sustained 60–70 days (almost twice the standard of 45 days) from inoculation to harvest. This extended period serves three critical functions:
- Increases the concentration of desirable compounds such as Cordycepin and Adenosine.
- It allows natural myco-remediation, neutralizing any potential undesired compounds in the substrate.
- The result is remarkable purity! Our final product has been consistently tested and proven undetectable on industry standard pesticide panels (USP 561).
Precision Stimulus Farming: Potency is systematically managed through controlled environmental stress. By utilizing specific spectrum lighting, variable light intensity and shifts, UV exposure, and calibrated temperature swings, we trigger the fungus's natural defense mechanisms.
This process naturally amplifies the yield of critical bioactive molecules, including Cordycepin, Adenosine, and a host of others, maximizing their bioavailability.
Advanced Post-Harvest Enhancement: After harvest, our fungi undergo a proprietary "light bath" treatment. This brief, controlled exposure is scientifically shown to significantly elevate Vitamin D content alongside other key bio-availables, ensuring optimal potency before dehydration begins.
Process Mastery: Unbroken Chain of Custody
For us, transparency required purity. We guarantee an unbroken chain of custody across all processing stages.
End-to-End Traceability: Our commitment to excellence begins with documentation at every turn. From the specific lot number of our core substrate inputs (e.g., whole oats from Georgia, brown rice from Louisiana, and local raw wildflower honey) to the final vacuum seal. We maintain end-to-end batch traceability. This guarantees you know the precise source and journey of your product.
Hyper-Controlled Environment: All cultivation occurs within fully climate-controlled indoor facilities. This hermetically sealed system allows us to precisely manage temperature, humidity, and air quality, effectively mitigating external cross-contamination risks inherent in field farming.
Minimal Handling Protocol: We adhere to rigorous, minimal handling protocols. From manual trimming to dehydration, to ensure the product remains uncontaminated until it reaches your hands.
The Art of Harvest & Fulfillment
Our commitment extends beyond chemistry; it is rooted in expertise and dedication.
Artisan Harvesting Mastery: Our harvest process is entirely manual and supervised by experienced, serve-safe managers. This hands-on mastery allows our experts to meticulously inspect every cap, culling any underperforming or compromised pieces.
This also functions to minimize the substrate presence dramatically, ensuring you receive only the pristine, perfect portion of the crop.
Gentle, Rapid Preservation: After harvest, we dehydrate at controlled low temperatures (below 115°F for 2–3 days) until "cracker" dry. The product is then immediately vacuum sealed in airtight pouches and padded with silica gel. We store this inventory in cool, dark conditions until dispatch.
The Fulfillment Guarantee: Transparency demands speed. All mushrooms are shipped within 90 days of harvest, dramatically shortening the time between our farm and your front door.
